A Pikler® Basic Course * has currently started and runs from February 14, 2025, to August 30, 2026, with 7 seminar sessions.
The next course will begin at the end of 2027; further information will follow!
Pikler® Basic Course in Latvia is being held for the third time. This time, the participants are functional specialists—occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and speech-language pathologists—as well as educators and Parent Emotional Support specialist.

**In agreement with the Latvian Association of Medical Professionals’ Organizations, document No. TIP2025/4 certifies continuing medical education points for each seminar, which can be used for certification and recertification.
On September 21, 2025, the training cycle “Pikler® Practice Guidance" began *
To become a Pikler® pedaogue it is necessary to continue training within the Practice Course. During the training the Pikler approach is explored in more depth. Participants learn how to integrate it into their professional work. The course includes practical sessions in which participants discuss and analyze case studies.
The training will take place in Riga and Berlin and will consist of a total of 7 seminars.

**Approved by the Latvian Association of Professional Medical Organizations under document No. TIP2025/343 TIP128. The program provides continuing medical education (CME) credits applicable for certification and recertification.

Situation-based tasks were addressed, focusing on the revision of practical skills in arranging the environment according to the child’s interests and abilities in order to support their development.
Amendments to the Association’s statutes were discussed.
Discussions were held on completed activities and future plans.
Each year, a supervision session is organized during which graduates of the Pikler® Basic Course share their case analyses and ask questions. Through joint discussions, solutions to complex situations are explored.
The main goal was to reconnect with like-minded colleagues. Together, we viewed the video materials prepared by the Association, shared information about the Association’s future plans, and jointly discussed current topics and challenges in working with children.
